First time blogging....is this working?

Christmas Eve Service - The kids were way more excited to touch the elves than to sit thru "big church." After church, we grabbed Chinese and headed back to open our Christmas Eve box. The kids had jammies, ice cream toppings, and our favorite Christmas movie- Home Alone. It was a great way to end the night, minus the sugar boost from the ice cream.

| Christmas Morning....they have their father's eyes |
Santa came! John and I have to get better about taking pictures throughout the day. Here are some quick ones as they unwrapped this morning. |
 |
| Santa brought Sam a skateboard. Praying for no broken bones...he is fearless, but also really good on it! |
We all played Bean Boozled and this is Sam letting us know that his jelly bean was actually delicious. I unfortunately only played 2 rounds...barf and stinky socks. It was awful! John, who couldn't taste anything bc he's sick, ate the entire jelly bean before announcing, "Yep, that was skunk." EWWW! I want to vomit just looking at the box. Lola lucked out and kept landing on toothpaste. And I hear that lawn clippings is actually quite fruity.
 |
| For the rest of the day, Sam tried to figure out how to use voice text (so many hearts!) and Lola designed at least 8 monogram screen savers for me. |
We ended the night with some Sam exercises, toenail painting, and we said goodbye to our Elves. Although the kids begged Santa to let Elvie and Snowflake stay one more night, they needed to go back to the North Pole.
Next up is a trip to Joplin to visit our family and celebrate Christmas with them. We can't wait!
